Andrew Van Lew, MA

My name is Andrew Van Lew and I am the Graduate & International Recruitment Coordinator at the University of Arkansas. I have served in this role for coming up on 2 years. Prior to this I served 5 years as a DSO and ARO in our university's International Students & Scholars Office. I am very passionate supporter of the NAFSA Academy. I had an incredible experience as a member of the 2019 Academy 16 Region III cohort. I made friends and connections that I maintain to this day (we have cohort Zoom get togethers very frequently). We have continued to support and push each other to be the best international educators we can be. This is something that our Academy coach, Jenny Brydon nurtured and cultivated in our group. I hope to replicate this same type of impact on the cohort for which I will be the coach.
