NAFSA Publications and Web Site Receive Awards
WASHINGTON - NAFSA's publications have again received recognition from both the APEX publications awards and the Society of National Association Publications (SNAP) EXCEL awards. This is the fourth consecutive year that NAFSA publications have been awarded prizes for excellence.
International Educator magazine won APEX awards for design excellence for the opening spread of an article titled
"Bridging the Divide" on higher education in South Africa (Jan/Feb 2008) and for writing excellence for a feature titled
"Not So Glacial Changes-Studying the Borderless Problem of Climate Change" (May/June 2008). "Not So Glacial Changes" also garnered a magazine feature writing award from the SNAP EXCEL judges.
The APEX awards committee bestowed an Award of Excellence on
Internationalizing the Campus 2008 in the category of special purpose reports.
NAFSA also earned an APEX Award for Publication Excellence for the
home page of the association's Web site.
