Sharon Ericsson

Sharon Ericsson is an International Student Advisor (DSO/ARO) at University of California Davis Services for International Students and Scholars (SISS). In addition to advising students on maintaining their status and work authorization, she builds successful collaborations and assists with the information management database Sunapsis. She has been working at SISS for six years, following twelve years as an academic advisor at Washington State University, where she co-founded First Generation Abroad, an advisor-led study abroad program (Costa Rica, Spain, Italy) for first generation college students. Sharon serves on NAFSA’s Northern California District Team as the Conference 2024 Content Chair and has served in the District Chair stream (2020-2022). She has served on NAFSA Region XII Conference Team with Local Arrangements (2022) and Registration (2023) and is the Chair-Elect for NAFSA Region XII.
