What do you get when you bring together an informal group of NAFSA members and nonmembers united by an interest close to their hearts? You get a Member Interest Group—one of the most personal and welcoming ways to find your place in NAFSA.

Join or Create a MIG

To join a MIG, please navigate to the specific MIG's page through the list below or contact the appropriate coordinator.

Many MIGs offer resources and ongoing activities throughout the year, including Web sites, online discussion forums and resource documents, list-servs, newsletters, publications, travel and research grant opportunities, and active relationships with outside organizations.

Rainbow SIG

The Rainbow SIG is pleased to announce that plans for an annual $5000-10,000 scholarship for GLBT study abroad students. The scholarship will be hosted by The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA). Learn more and make a donation.

Peace, Justice, Citizen Diplomacy MIG

The Peace, Justice, and Citizen Diplomacy MIG now has its own MIG Space! Join the group to help us "promote global understanding and foster good relationships that in time will contribute significantly to ending conflict, international aggression and to uphold the ideals of peace and global justice...By connecting international education with peace and global justice, we will be taking a step in the right direction."
