Canadian Views on the Implications of the Bologna Process

At a March 2009 conference at the University of Alberta, the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada presented a paper, The Bologna Process: Implications for Canadian Universities (94kb ). Originally published in April 2008, along with the AUCC Statement (37kb ), the paper contains:

• an overview of the Bologna Process
• updates on reactions in Australia/New Zealand, the U.S., and Mexico and Latin America; and
• implications for Canadian Universities in the areas of:
  • international student recruitment
  • graduate admissions and credential evaluation
  • student mobility
