Profiles of Success at Colleges and Universities
Five institutions, from a strong and diverse set of submitted nominees, were chosen by the jury to receive the Senator Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization in 2010, and are profiled in depth in this report published by NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Three other institutions received the Senator Paul Simon Spotlight Award for their outstanding accomplishments in specific areas of internationalization.

The five institutions awarded the 2010 Senator Paul Simon Award for Internationalization are:
- Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania
- Hobart & William Smith Colleges, New York
- Loyola University Maryland
- Northeastern University, Massachusetts
- University of San Francisco, California
The three institutions receiving the Senator Paul Simon Spotlight Award for outstanding accomplishments in specific areas of internationalization are:
- Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York
- La Roche College, Pennsylvania
- College of the Atlantic, Maine
A distinguished selection jury decided which schools from the submitted nominees would be chosen for the Senator Paul Simon Award for Internationalization, the Spotlight Award, and inclusion in the 2010 report. The members of the selection jury were:

- Mary Devins, associate director of Center for International Studies and the Liberal Arts, Connecticut College)y
- Jeff Riedinger, dean of International Studies and Programs, Michigan State University
- Neal Sobania, executive director of the Wang Center for International Programs, Pacific Lutheran University
- Priscilla Stone, director of Overseas Programs and Undergraduate Studies, Washington University in St. Louis
