How do we best serve the education abroad nontraditional student? Students of color, ethnic minorities, and older returning students represent a unique group requiring special support. Discover from nontraditional students their experiences studying abroad. Consider why including this group in study abroad is not only right—but an imperative. Understand some of the reasons why this group is disproportionately underrepresented. Learn about the successful models to encourage these students and practical strategies to open the possibility of participation in longer programs.
